Supporting Children with Baby Signing

Alongside spoken language, we use simple signs to support communication where appropriate.

Baby signing can give children an additional way to express their needs before they are able to speak confidently. Signs for words such as more, finished, drink and please help reduce frustration while reinforcing spoken language.

Using signs alongside speech encourages understanding and gives children another tool to communicate successfully.
